through the ache of time

720px-52706main_hstorion_lgsee it moving – Life!
moving through the ache of time
seeking that place
where identity isn’t worn on a sleeve,
where individuals challenge the tribe,
where beauty frees itself from convention,
where the chain of fear dissolves

  1. “…where individuals challenge the tribe.” That’s what poets like you do, Jamie, whether you are asking us to reexamine our personal and/ or societal values, or challenging us to see with fresh eyes.

    1. Jadi, I am always struck by your beautiful smile.

Thank you for this honor. I’ll respond on my own blog, if you don’t mind. It will be a few weeks. Am in the middle of a move. Thank you again for the honor and for your understanding.

      Warmest regards,
      Jamie
