Two Poems by Denise Fletcher

Poetry Books

Poetry books
Sitting on library shelves
Never being read
So many obscure poets
Lost
To the literary canon

What is Poetry?

Fragments
Memories
Scraps of the past
Thoughts that pass
Thru your memory
Bank on the way
To oblivion
